Upgrade, don’t replace

The No O1 was conceived as a platform from day one: a repairable steel frame, open to any drive – analog or electric, hub or mid-engine – with one interface for everything you carry. The frame stays, the parts evolve: with your everyday life and with technological progress.
That's why there are now two new specifications of the same platform: the Utility Rack for kids or heavy loads, and the Shimano EP8 mid-engine for anyone who needs more pull. Not a new generation – more possibilities for the bike you already ride.
A Toolbike that grows with you replaces more car trips. And it never needs replacing itself.
New: The Utility Rack
Built for the two jobs that matter most: your kid and anything heavy.
The child seat clicks onto the AVS+ interface without tools. Your child sits facing you, protected by the surrounding metal frame and close enough for every conversation on the way to daycare. The front of the rack stays free for bags and luggage.
No passenger today? Drop in the included cargo deck and the Utility Rack is ready for heavy loads – with plenty of tie-down points on top and a storage compartment underneath where straps and odds and ends disappear.
Our most versatile rack. Like all our racks, it mounts on the same cargo interface of the frame and can be retrofitted to any No O1.

Always in view, always in conversation.

A sturdy metal frame surrounds the child seat.

In front of the child seat, there's room for a backpack, groceries and a helmet.

Flat, sturdy and with plenty of tie-down points.

Thanks to the AVS+ interface, the cargo deck lifts out without tools.

Storage for straps and small stuff, right beneath the cargo deck.
Pre-order
For your existing No O1, the Utility Rack is now available for CHF/EUR/USD 220 instead of 380.

New: No O1 electric with Shimano EP8
The No O1 electric is now also available with a mid-engine. The Shimano EP8 delivers full support when things get heavier: with your kid in the front seat, the weekly shop on the rack, or on the steep ramp home.
The battery comes off easily for charging – take it to the office, into your flat, wherever you like. Combined with the Shimano Alfine 11-speed hub and the proven Gates® Carbon Drive™ belt, the drivetrain stays low-maintenance.
It's all made possible by a frame that's open to any drive: the EP8 sits in the same No O1 you already know. If you prefer something lighter and more understated, the Mahle X35 is still available.

Trade-in instead of conversion
Because the frame is open to any drive, the EP8 mid-engine also fits your existing No O1 – a conversion would be technically possible. But valuable parts like your Pinion® gearbox would end up unused.
A trade-in makes more sense: your current No O1 pays for part of your new No O1 electric with EP8. Your old bike keeps riding in our test fleet – as a test-ride bike for everyone looking for their first Toolbike. No bike gets thrown away, and every part stays in use.
